What has been reviewed?

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has undertaken policy review of Maternity/Legal Adoption/Parental Leave Supplement to Employment Insurance (EI), also referred to as "top-up".  Top-up benefit provides employees on maternity/legal adoption/parental leave with a supplemental payment that is in addition to the EI benefits received during a period of unemployment.

What has changed?

A number of "top-up" policies and supporting tools have been combined to provide better client service.
