Central Services is working in partnership with SaskTel to deploy a new telephone service for government employees. 
As part of this work, the IBC Soft Client software will be installed on all Executive Government computers starting on Monday, April 1, 2019, and will be part of the base-build for all new machines. This will ensure all the computers have the software required at the time of their phone deployment – even is that deployment is several months or more away. Some users will see the software on April 1 and others will see it batched out later on May 8. 

​No action from users is required at this time.

You will not be able to use the application until your building is transitioned to the IBC service at which time you will be given a username and temporary password to access the IBC Soft Client application.

Once moved to the new IBC system, you will receive an auto-generated email from SaskTel ( with your IBC username and a temporary password. This login information will be used to access the online user portal where you can make changes to your phone settings and to access your IBC Soft Client – the computer application for your phone service.

Once you receive your username and password, we ask that you log into the online user portal and change your password. This new password will be used to access the IBC user portal and your Soft Client application once you transition to IBC.
