Office 365 is a multi-year project with many phases that will eventually take all of Government's IT environment onto the Cloud.
The Cloud is the internet-based delivery of IT services, storage and applications.
By moving Government's IT environment online, it will provide:
- new tools and applications that make it easier for you to collaborate with other employees within your Ministry and throughout all Executive Government;
- more secure technology, providing better protection for Government data and documents;
- improved quality and reliability of IT services; and
- financial savings by eliminating the need to upgrade technology every few years.
As an employee, you will experience changes to the way you currently interact with Government computers, files and applications.
