calculated once they complete their initial probation period, or for term
employees, once they have completed the equivalent to initial probation.

The seniority roster includes the seniority of permanent full-time, permanent part-time, term and labour service employees.
A seniority roster by ministry shall be distributed to all work places and made accessible to all employees by May 15 of each year.

An employee may challenge their seniority by completing the
SGEU Seniority and Appeal Form.
Employees should submit the form along with information/documentation to support their appeal to the HR Service Centre before July 31.
