The Management Classification Plan provides a set of standard criteria to determine the value of one job in relation to another. This ensures jobs with significantly different requirements are paid differently and that jobs of equal or comparable value are paid within the same pay range.
A classification review may be in order if a new set of duties or responsibilities is created or the duties or responsibilities of an existing position have altered sufficiently to justify a review as to the appropriateness of the position's classification.

You can access an Electronic Position Description (ePD) by clicking Initiate Classification Action on your PSC Client Home screen
For an in-scope position, click the SGEU In-scope button. For an out-of-scope position, click the Out-of-Scope button.
For help on how to complete and submit the electronic form, click on the Classification System Tutorial found on the opening page of PSC Client. This tutorial will lead you to short videos to help you complete and submit the electronic form.
