Managers who need to recall or layoff a labour service employee must follow certain procedures.

To initiate a recall of a permanent labour service employee from layoff, please complete the Labour Service – Recall Spreadsheet
and send it to the HR Service Centre.
The Labour Service Recall or Layoff Notification Form
should be used if you are completing short-term recall, completing an hours of work change, if there are any changes to the MIDAS position number and/or position number counter.
